Merino wool anklet running sock constructed with medium cushioning underneath the foot and a lightweight breathable mesh on top of foot. Designed for runners, walkers and those looking for a combination of comfort and performance, in a sustainable product. The 22 micron merino wool gives the ideal balance between comfort and durability. Socks also contain silver siltex polypropylene to block odor-causing bacteria and wick sweat away from your skin for dry, fresh feet. The socks are designed to be used all year round, with excellent moisture wicking and temperature regulation.
Ventilation mesh
Merino wool fibres can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour then move it away to evaporate into the air. The inner core of the fibres attracts water and moves it away from skin as the outer layer repels water. Large ventilation panels allow for consistent airflow, helping to keep feet cool and comfortable.
Thermo Regulating
Merino wool fabric has natural loft that traps heat very effectively between fibres, insulating and keeping your feet warm in cooler conditions. In warmer conditions the socks keep you cool by the excellent moisture wicking capability of merino wool fibres, moving sweat away from your body and allowing it to evaporate.
Antimicrobial
The natural engineering of Merino Wool resists the growth of odour causing bacteria. These merino wool socks don’t need to be washed as often or as rigorously as synthetics. Airing your Merino overnight will usually freshen it for the following day. In addition, added siltex polypropylene will enhance anti-microbial properties.
Durable
A 156 needle machine is used to produce a high stitch count, giving a denser, smoother and more durable fabric. 22 micron merino wool fibres are combined with nylon to increase strength and durability of socks. The socks are engineered to last.
Elite Comfort
Merino wool fibres are much finer and softer than wool and other synthetic fibres. The bottom of the sock contains more of the extra fine merino wool fabric providing cushioning and impact protection, with adding bulk. Full-length cushioning provides protection and comfort across the entire footbed, particularly around the toes, heel, and bottom of the foot, essential for absorbing impact during high-activity sports.
